Whew...

Since I felt like shit all day today, I had a short day at work, which was nice. As Austin would say, "Ad-Audit that bitch," and then leave...

Arriving home, I've decided that it's time for some hardcore self-reflection. To that end, here are some totally random thoughts and/or happenings from recent memory:

- Jesus did I fuck up in the last year. Perhaps out of shyness, but perhaps more out of cowardice, I totally fucked up my girl life. Nevermind Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" and all the messages it tells, but I really am unable to hold together an honest relationship with anyone as long as Lacey is my best friend. What do you say to that? Am I a jerk or just confused? I've decided that the answer is related to my own ignorance: I need to focus on what I really want in the long term, without ignoring what is best for me in the short term. Expect apologies soon.

- I cleaned out my closet today... no, literally. It wasn't much, and there's more to do, but most importantly, I discovered a huge cache of shit that I don't even remember even buying. Most of what went to the trash involved massive amounts of unused condoms and other adventurous items (ahh, to be 18 again!). There's one skeleton finally off my shoulders. I tell myself and everyone that I'm a decent guy, but the truth is fairly obvious: I like to have sex and lots of it, and considering how long it's been since my last, I'm starting to go crazy I think...

- My birthday is this week. Good ol' October 4th. It's a Wednesday this week, a fairly uneventful day save for the fact that I'll most likely head to B-Dubs that night for a Petrifier and............ more self reflection.
